Food Safety for the Fresh Produce Industry
The GAPs and HACCP Food Safety for the Fresh Produce Industry workshop targets fresh produce growers,
packers, shippers and distributors, assisting them in
developing and customizing their own food safety/security
programs. This expanded three-day HACCP certification program will be held March 2-4, in Athens, Ga.

Ants come inside for warmth, food and shelter
The Argentine ant, or sugar ant, frequently invades homes in Georgia. Less than a quarter of an inch long, the Argentine worker ants can easily enter a home through a gap or crack the size of a pinhead.
