The GAPs and HACCP Food Safety for the Fresh Produce Industry workshop targets fresh produce growers, packers, shippers and distributors, assisting them in developing and customizing their own food safety/security programs. This expanded three-day HACCP certification program will be held March 2-4, in Athens, Ga.

Ants come inside for warmth, food and shelter
The Argentine ant, or sugar ant, frequently invades homes in Georgia. Less than a quarter of an inch long, the Argentine worker ants can easily enter a home through a gap or crack the size of a pinhead.
