Managing Resources
Protection and Management of Natural Resources
Agriculturalists have always considered themselves stewards of the land, air and water. They consider their work a partnership with natural resources to produce crops, livestock, timber and other products.
But managing resources goes beyond conservation and stewardship practices. It involves decisions made by community leaders, the education of young people to guide their future choices, and urban issues such as stormwater pollution and pesticide use.
