T. Dean Pringle

Department: Animal and Dairy Science
Dr. Pringle is a professor in the Animal and Dairy Science Department where he currently serves as the coordinator of undergraduate advising. In addition to his administrative duties, Dean teaches Introduction to Animal Science, Live Animal and Carcass Evaluation, Experimental Techniques in Meat Science and Muscle Biology and Advanced Meat Processing. He also coordinates the departmental internship program and advises both undergraduate and graduate students.
Dean’s real passion is mentoring and educating students. He began teaching in 1995 and has since had instructional contact with more than 1,700 students. He began advising in 1996 and currently advises around 100 undergraduates per semester.
