Academics: Ambassadors

Being an Ambassador

What is expected of an Ambassador?

  • Ambassadors are required to attend class on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Class is not held during Summer Semester.
  • Ambassadors are required to have an e-mail account and to access the account daily for any news or events. It is expected that the ambassadors maintain close communication with the CAES Academic Affairs staff, both in person and by e-mail.
  • Ambassadors are expected to be knowledgeable about our campus and college.
  • Ambassadors are required to attend an off-campus weekend workshop the first weekend after Fall Semester begins. (August 21 - 23, 2009)
  • Ambassadors must register for a one hour class (AESC 4950) for a grade each semester. Ambassadors must reapply if they wish to continue the program.
  • Course grade will be based on attendance and participation.

What are the benefits of being an Ambassador?

CAES Ambassadors receive a polo shirt as well as the opportunity to travel, give back to the College, meet college leaders, develop friendships, expand communication and leadership skills, meet potential students, and network with alumni.
