The program, jointly supported and sponsored by NSF and National Science Council of Taiwan, EAPSI provides U.S. graduate students with the opportunities to attend an academic apprenticeship in Taiwan from June to August each year.
Academia Sinica of Taiwan set up the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) in 2002, in order to attract young scholars from around the globe to its campus for advanced, inter-disciplinary studies. In cooperation with the top universities in Taiwan, TIGP will offer about eight program options. All courses will be conducted in English and scholarships and research grants are available for qualified students. TIGP is a unique and exciting intellectual community that will provide young scholars with tremendous opportunities for academic and personal growth.
