Interdisciplinary Certificate
in
Leadership & Service
The Interdisciplinary Certificate in Leadership and Service is the first academic program at UGA that provides an interdisciplinary approach to leadership. This program offers undergraduate students, of any college, at UGA the opportunity to hone leadership skills and learn about service.
This unique program is open to all UGA undergraduate students. The ICLS is a collaborative partnership among multiple colleges, campus units and faculty with an interest in promoting leadership and service. Primary partners include the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Family and Consumer Sciences, Warnell School of Forestry with support from the College of Education, Student Affairs and numerous departments throughout campus.
ICLS offers the chance to gain leadership experience in personal, team, organizational and community settings. This certificate improves and documents leadership and service potential – something employers say they're looking for.
