Interdisciplinary Certificate in Leadership & Service
Requirements
The certificate requires 18 hours of course work and is easy to get if planned early. Many of the courses fit major requirements or core. Students can take courses from many colleges and departments throughout the university — psychology, sociology, political science, speech communication, etc.
Students and their adviser have the flexibility to design a plan of work that targets your particular interests and developmental needs. Self assessment, portfolio development and continuous evaluation will develop skills and help to apply them in different settings.
