Academics: The Deans' Promise

Leadership

As a CAES student, you will graduate with a head full of facts, research skills and data from as many textbooks as possible. We're committed to giving you more.

We not only load you with knowledge; we also provide you with opportunities to start stretching towards your leadership potential.

Leadership Opportunities

The Interdisciplinary Certificate in Leadership and Service sharpens leadership and service skills in personal, team, organizational and community settings. This certificate both improves and documents leadership and service potential.

CAES Ambassadors assist with student recruitment and college-related activities ranging from the Sunbelt Ag Expo to the Georgia Agribusiness Council Harvest Celebration. They are also called on to speak on topics related to agriculture, the environment or student opportunities.

The Ag Hill Council consists of representatives from CAES, the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. They meet bi-monthly to discuss issues, share ideas and plan events, all while building personal and professional leadership skills.
