Spring Semester 2008 Recognition Ceremony

The University of Georgia has scheduled its Undergraduate Commencement on Saturday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. in Sanford Stadium. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in Stegeman Coliseum in two sessions, at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will take part in the ceremony beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Also on May 10, The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will hold its Recognition Ceremony. It is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. in the Hodgson Concert Hall of the Performing Arts Center. Students and department heads are asked to arrive at 11:30 a.m. to form the processional. Students, faculty and department heads are asked to wear academic regalia. In case of rain, the Recognition Ceremony for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will be held at 1:15 p.m. Students should arrive at 12:45 to form the procession.
Summer Candidates - Summer candidates will be officially recognized at the University Summer Semester Commencement on August 2. Because the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences does not hold a summer recognition ceremony, summer candidates who wish to be recognized at the Spring College Recognition Ceremony should notify our office by Friday, April 18.
Caps and Gowns - Students may purchase caps and gowns at the University Bookstore through the day of the ceremony.
