Paul Wilber Chapman

Occupation: Supervisor of agricultural education and director of vocational education for the Georgia Department of Education; Dean of the University of Georgia College of Agriculture; Director of Resident Instruction of the College of Agriculture.
Accomplishments: Dean Chapman was recognized throughout the South as an outstanding speaker, writer and advocate of agriculture. He earned the distinction as a leader when he led the College of Agriculture through a difficult period of adjustment and limited financial support. He was named Progressive Farmer's Man of the Year for Georgia. His civic involvement included serving as president of the Rotary Club, Georgia Education Association and the American Vocational Association.
