The Office of College Advancement strives to serve CAES alumni and friends by providing up-to-date information about news in the office and in the College.

 

CAES Launches Alumni Tour Program
When Dean Scott Angle and Alumni Director Juli Fields discussed the potential for creating a CAES Alumni tour program, neither had any idea how wildly successful their first attempt would be! Launched in July 2009, 30 CAES alumni and friends traveled over 900 miles of Ireland's narrow roads touring many of southern Ireland's most famous gardens and farms. Horticulture professor, Dr. Tim Smalley served as the tour guide, providing tour participants with tremendous insight into the history and philosophy of gardening.

 

In the latest issue of Southscapes, CAES' alumni magazine, learn about how one CAES graduate is putting his education to use helping disabled people gain more independence.

Southscapes is published semi-annually for alumni, friends and supporters of the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences by the CAES Office of College Advancement and CAES Office of Communications.
