Get the latest information on how to care for your lawn or your golf course from UGA researchers and Extension specialists. The field day includes such topics as controlling turf insects like mole crickets and white grubs and turf pests like crabgrass and other turf weeds.
Start the semester off right by attending Orientation 2.0. There will be free T-shirts, ice cream sundaes and popcorn for freshman and new transfer students, as well as the opportunity to ask questions to a student panel and network with professors and clubs.
Join us to hear from our D.W. Brooks winner for Excellence in Research, Dr. Katrien Devos, and Dr. Abigail Borron, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agriculture, Leadership, Education and Communication.

College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences students and those interested in learning about CAES activities are invited to attend the Ag Dawg Kickoff hosted by the UGA CAES Alumni Association. Ag Dawg Kickoff will be held on the Four Towers lawn. Students receive free dinner and prizes. CAES student organizations and programs will have information available for students. Students should bring their UGA ID card.
The National Egg Products School, sponsored by the UGA Department of Poultry Science and the American Egg Board, is a biennial, four-day school focusing on eggs and egg products.
