Welcome to Athens Campus

The Athens campus is located in Athens, Georgia, home of the main campus of the University of Georgia. Some 60 miles northeast of Atlanta, Athens is accessible by several highways and interstates and two airports. The heart of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences can be found on the southern end of the university campus in an area known as Ag Hill. Conner Hall, the administrative center of the college, is located there and is surrounded by some of the finest agricultural research facilities in the country. These buildings provide office and laboratory space for nationally acclaimed researchers in the areas of cloning, crop genomics, food science and engineering. The main teaching campus of the college, the Athens campus is alive with students from across Georgia, the U.S. and the world who gather to learn and conduct research in the fields of agriculture and environmental science.
