Fabulous Containers Workshop. This workshop will focus on creating container gardens at their best. No plant is off limits. You will be challenged to build your own creation using a variety of plant material that will be available. Herb Academy Workshop. This hands-on workshop will explore the history, biology, chemistry and uses of herbs. You will learn many easy-to-grow and easy-to-use medicinal herb plants that will enhance any garden or provide focus for a new perennial bed. Plant Propagation and Hobby Greenhouse Workshop. Learn to multiply your garden favorites by seed or cuttings. You'll learn the principles of plant propagation and the operation and management of a hobby greenhouse. There will be plenty of hands on opportunities. Scarecrows in the Garden. Special activities are planned for this last day of Scarecrows in the Garden. There will be a pumpkin patch, a storyteller, pumpkin decorating, a silent auction and more. Visit the Garden throughout the month of October to see all the scarecrows.
