Spring 2008 Graduates

Six University of Georgia students were recognized as this year's graduates from the Griffin Campus during a reception and brick ceremony held April 25. The students, who will officially graduate in May, are (l-r) Todd Smith, Bobby Goss, Evelyn Carr, Angela Allen, Nathan Wright and Michael Ruhl.
Carr, Goss, Ruhl, Smith and Wright earned their degrees through the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Allen earned her degree through the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.



The Griffin Campus, one of the premier agricultural research centers in the region, addresses today's needs for research, extension and outreach, and teaching. The programs on the Griffin Campus focus on several areas including,

  • Education
  • Food safety and quality enhancement
  • Biotechnology and genetics
  • Crop and pest management
  • Environment and natural resources
  • Urban agriculture
