The Tifton Campus is strategically located in the geographic center of South Georgia at the crossroads of I-75, U.S. 319, U.S. 82 Sunshine Parkway and U.S. 41, at the intersection of I-75 and Highway 41 North in Tifton, Georgia.
Driving Directions
From Atlanta
Take I-75 South. Take the I-475 South exit (Exit 177) towards
Valodsta; merge onto I-475 South. Take the I-75 South/GA-401
South exit. Merge onto I-75 South.
Exit off I-75 South at Exit 64. Turn RIGHT onto US Highway
41 North. Travel approximately .2 miles and take the first
road to the left which is RDC Road. The Rural Development
Center is located on the left.
Continuing straight on RDC Road across the railroad tracks
to the stop sign, take a left onto Moore Highway. Go straight
through at the stop light. The Tifton Campus Administration
Building and other campus buildings are located on the right.
From Athens (leaving the University of Georgia):
Start out going East on College Station Road. Take the US-129 South/Athens
Perimeter Highway ramp and merge onto US-129 South. Stay straight onto
US-29 South. Take the GA-316 exit. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp;
then stay straight to go onto the ramp. Turn LEFT onto University Parkway.
University Parkway becomes US-29 South; then US-29 South becomes GA-316
West.
Take I-85 South. Take the I-285-Bypass East exit (Exit 95B) towards Augusta/Macon.
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp and merge onto I-285 South.
Take the I-675 South exit (Exit 52) towards Macon; merge onto I-675 South.
Take I-75 South. Take the I-475 South exit (Exit 177) towards Valodsta;
merge onto I-475 South. Take the I-75 South/GA-401 South exit. Merge
onto I-75 South.
Exit off I-75 South at Exit 64. Turn RIGHT onto US Highway 41 North.
