What do you do?

I teach classes relevant to Agricultural Education, conduct research focused on teaching and learning, and work as part of an international agricultural development team trying to improve Agricultural Education.

Where did you get your training?

Bachelor degree from University of Kentucky; Master degree from University of Central Florida; and Doctorate degree from Texas A&M University.

Why did you choose to make this your career?

A very strong passion for teaching and very strong interest in agriculture.

How long have you done this job? How long have you worked in Tifton?

I started teaching in Tifton February 1, 2003.

What is the most interesting part of your job?

The most interesting part of my job is working with undergraduate students and beginning teachers and helping them learn how to teach better.  The most interesting thing that I have done since I have been in this position is to travel to Armenia and the Former Republic of Georgia to help Agriculture Teachers in those countries improve their teaching methods.

The UGA Tifton Campus offers all of the benefits of the University of Georgia and none of the traffic.
