Chapter Information
The Tifton Campus branch of the UGA Alpha Psi chapter was established in February
2004 with the addition of Jason Peake to the Tifton Campus faculty. This branch
of the UGA Alpha Psi Chapter has been established to be an honorary society
at the University of Georgia and will be a silent partner in the UGA Collegiate
FFA.
Membership
To gain membership into the ATA Alpha Psi chapter, an undergraduate student
must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA, and a graduate student must maintain a
3.3 cumulative GPA. New Members are initiated at the annual Spring FFA Awards
Banquet.

Ambassadors
Purpose
The ambassadors will be a group of professionally dedicated students who will
act as official hosts and hostesses for the College. The UGA Tifton ambassador
program will assist with recruitment and college-related activities to enhance
the public and instructional image of the college, its students and its programs.
Applications
Applicants must complete an application — applications
are available in room 514 of the TDC.
Expectations
Ambassadors are required to attend meetings.
Ambassadors
are required to have an e-mail account and to access the account daily
for news or events. It is expected that the ambassadors maintain a close
relationship with the Assistant Dean’s Office and Academic Programs, both in person and
by e-mail.
Benefits
UGA Tifton Ambassadors receive a polo shirt as well as the opportunity to travel,
give back to the College, meet college leaders, develop friendships, expand communication
and leadership skills, meet potential students, and network with alumni.

Collegiate FFA
Chapter Information
The Collegiate FFA at the Tifton Campus was formed on February 26, 2004. The mission of the group is to see that agriculture and education were taught efficiently throughout the state. The UGA Collegiate FFA is open to all students interested in agriculture. Former members of high school chapters are also encouraged to continue their membership at the collegiate level. Visit the

Activities
Our organization is very active in our school and community. Activities consist of movie nights, bowling nights, Halloween Costume parties, National FFA convention, Conclave and Ag Awareness Day.

We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
