Agribusiness

While agribusiness research includes research on the financial management of farms, it focuses more often on the economics and management of firms on the other side of the farmgate: food and fiber processors, food retailers, and restaurants. This research can include analysis of firm productivity and efficiency, the study of different marketing strategies, inventory control, and pricing strategies.
