UGA Food Science Club
The UGA Food Science Club is for anyone interested in fostering close working relationships between students and faculty whose interest is in the application of science and technology to the handling, preservation and utilization of food.

Institute of Food Technologists Student Association (IFTSA)
Founded in 1939, the Institute of Food Technologists is a nonprofit scientific society with 22,000 members working in food science, food technology, and related professions in industry, academia, and government.
Students who join IFT automatically become members of the IFTSA. Aside from receiving the extended benefits of IFT membership at reduced costs, Student Members can also participate in educational programs, and scientific and technical competitions. Participation enables students to gain valuable experience and build leadership skills.
