Bartlett Tree Foundation Grant-in-Aid

Undergraduate majors in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or Forestry who have a genuine interest in a career in Arboriculture. Evidence of interest may consist of courses, internships, work experience, or special projects in these fields. Admitted freshmen to rising seniors might be considered. Provide an application cover letter of 150 words or less that documents a genuine interest in a career in Arboriculture. Georgia Green Industry Association Scholarships

The Georgia Green Industry Association Scholarship Fund was created to promote interest in ornamental horticulture and to encourage the development of outstanding young men and women. Deadline November 12. For more information about scholarship, go to http://www.ggia.org/ .

Perennial Plant Association

The Perennial Plant Association is proud to offer six $1000 scholarships to college students studying horticulture or a related subject area. Students enrolled in two or four year programs are eligible to apply. The completed application should be mailed to the PPA office by March 1. Each scholarship recipient will be notified by mail before May 15. Scholarships will be sent to the school's financial aids department for distribution to the student with funds being made available in the term following the award of the scholarship. Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship

Southern Nurserymen's Association. Four $2,500. Eligibility: Full-time junior, senior, graduate student; resident of 16 southern states; minimum grade point average of 2.25 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students.
