About GMGA
GMGA is an independent non-profit association of Georgia Master Gardener Volunteers. This page is provided through cooperation with the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension.
GMGA membership is not mandatory in order to serve as a Master Gardener volunteer. Training coordinators may elect to pay the first year membership out of class fees collected. After the first year, it will be up to members to renew membership directly with GMGA by mailing in a renewal form and dues. Membership forms are available in each issue of The Scoop, the quarterly newsletter or on the Georgia Master Gardener Association web pages under GMGA Membership. Annual membership entitles Master Gardeners to receive The Scoop, the Georgia Master Gardener Association annual membership directory, and priority registration at GMGA conferences and events.
