Academic Programs
One of the primary goals of the Department of Poultry Science is to provide effective training to stimulate academic achievement for students and to prepare them to compete and excel in a changing world. To accomplish this goal, both undergraduate and graduate students can enroll in a variety of challenging courses encompassing areas of nutrition, physiology, microbiology and management. Students have the opportunity for hands on experience in class laboratory sessions and to research directly with world‐renown faculty, an opportunity not often available to many undergraduates.
