The National Allium Research Conference brings together researchers from across the United States that work on onions and related edible alliums. This conference will highlight the latest research with these crops. In addition, there will be a session devoted to Iris Yellow Sport Virus and Thrips management. Finally the W1008 Research and Extension Committee on Onion IYSV and Thrips will be meeting in conjunction with the conference.

The conference will be held from December 10-13, 2008 at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel in historic Savannah, Georgia.
