Georgia 4-H General Eligibility Rules
The 4-H program year begins on August 1 and ends on July 31.
The ages for enrollment in 4-H will be based on the age of youth as of January 1 of the academic year.
Example: A 4-H'er must be less than 19 on
1-1-12 to participate from 8-1-11 to 7-31-12.

4-H meetings for the new year will begin in September 2011. As soon as schedules are available, they will be posted on the web so parents are informed as to dates and times of meetings. Cloverleaf Club is 5th & 6th grade, Junior Club is 7th & 8th grade, and Senior Club is 9th -12th grade.

- 4-H/FFA Local show-Feb. 20th
- GA Jr. Livestock Show-Perry-Feb. 22-25th
- 2012 Swine Fair Shows-TBA-must own pig by Sept. 1, 2012.

- Fair Booths
- Sign up to do a fair booth for the Waycross Agricultural Fair-2012. Spaces are limited so call today!
- Club Meetings
- Club meeting are in full swing. Make sure you attend!
- Georgia National Fair -October 4-14, 2012 in Perry, Georgia--Rides, games, exhibits, food and lots of fun. Make plans to attend today.
- Poultry Judging-Area Contest-April 11, 2012
- Training classes will be taught on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM.
- You must attend 4 of the 5 classes to participate
- March-7---3:30-4:30 PM
- March 14 --- 3:30-4:30 PM
- March 21 --- 3:30-4:30 PM
- March 28 ---- 3:30-4:30 PM

- April 11, 2012-Contest
- Jr. Conference-March 31-April 1, 2012-Tybee Island--6th, 7th and 8th graders-contact the 4-H office if you are interested--$60.00
- Cloverleaf Camp at Jekyll Island 4-H Center -June 11th through June 15th-$295.00 ($100 non-refundable deposit due when application is turned in.
