Extension in the Community

DeKalb County Cooperative Extension strives very hard to work in the community by giving back to those in need. Here are just a few ways how we're done this in the past:

  • EFNEP & Hosea Feed the Hungry Food Drive

We welcome your participation in this collaborative worthwhile endeavor. Blue containers will be in the reception area for you to deposit food items. Thank you in advance for contributing.

  • Hope for the Holidays

DeKalb County Cooperative Extension and DeKalb County Child Advocacy Center have partnered to support the 6th Annual Hope for the Holidays Event.  This celebration seeks to provide holiday gifts for foster children in DeKalb County who otherwise would not have a Christmas.
