May 8 Lunch and Learn: Beef Cuts Join Pike County Extension in 2024 dive into Homestead Skills with monthly, virtual Lunch and Learns hosted on the second Wednesday of each month (with the exception of holidays). Each month will discover a new topic with experts leading the way. Simply email Brooklyne.Wassel@uga.edu to receive the Zoom link or catch the recordings on our YouTube channel. May 9 Union/Towns Master Naturalist Program Series 1 The Master Naturalist Program covers natural resource topics such as native plants, invasive species, birds, tree ID, watershed management, mushrooms, pollinators and more. This Master Naturalist training is broken up into spring and fall series. To be a certified Master Naturalist, attendance in in both series is required. Classes will be on Thursdays. Cost is $150 for each series.
