Objectives:
- To give the opportunity for both young and old to learn about goats
- Teach life skills to youth (responsibility, caring, patience, respecting & helping others, sharing, good sportsmanship, public speaking and leadership)
- Provide opportunities for adult volunteers to share their knowledge with 4-H youth
September 4th Show Results
The local 4 H Goat and Lamb show was a big success. Over 50 animals were paraded before the show judge in many levels of competition. Shown below are the results of the show competition.

Citizenship Award Winners

A very special part of our local show is the selection by the Awards Committee of the 4 H members for Citizenship Awards. These individuals demonstrate attention to details in the preparation and showing of their own animals and the extra effort to support other members during the show events. We are very proud of our three newest Citizenship Award winners: Courtney Painter, Mason Sims, and Alice Kirby.
