Russell Sowers is a 10 year member and past President of the Savannah Rose Society and a 10 year member of the American Rose Society and is experienced and licensed in grafting and propagation of different types of rose cultivars.

Bill began his love for Bonsai in the 1970’s when he was living in NYC and he has been involved in this remarkable art form ever since. In 1979 he worked on the first installment of the Japanese garden at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. He has had a nursery and Bonsai greenhouse on a century old family homestead in the historic Monteith neighborhood near Savannah since 1992.
