Awards Banquet
The Camden County 4-H program recognized the achievements of 4-H event participants in the past year at the annual 4-H Awards Banquet on April 30, 2012. The banquet was led by Senior 4-H’ers from grades nine through twelve; who incorporated the theme “Celebrating the Decades of Music” by sharing 4-H songs and dances including “The 4-H Singers”, “Lean on Me” and “Cotton Eye Joe.” The 4-H’ers were awarded for their participation and significant accomplishments in various 4-H activities including: cloverleaf, junior, and senior project achievement, the public speaking contest; 4-H cookie baking contest, poultry judging, S.A.F.E shooting sports, poultry club, beekeeping club, community service club, Kings Bay 4-H Club, the mentorship program, fair booths, teen leadership, and other community service activities.
