Chatham County Commissioners proclaimed October 1st thru October 7th, National 4-H week.

This year Chatham County 4-H received the following awards at Junior/Senior DPA.

* Southeast District Most 1st Place Senior Winners- 3rd Place
* Award of Excellence Greatest Improvement-1st Place
* Cloverleaf Project Achievement County With Greatest Improvement-3rd Place
* Cloverleaf Project Achievement 2nd Most 4-H'ers-2nd Place

This year during Georgia National Fair- October 6-15. Chatham county 4-H received the following awards:
* 1st place 4-H county minibooths
* 1st place 4-H Cloverleaf Minibooths- Agricultural and Environment- Peyton West
* 1st place 4-H Cloverleaf Minibooths-Champion- Peyton West
* 3rd place 4-H Senior Minibooths- Family and Consumer Science- Hannah Chapman
* 5th place 4-H Senior Minibooths- Family and Consumer Science- Niki Hyatt
* 8th place 4-H Senior Minibooths- Agricultural and Environmental- Elizabeth West
