Milk Make Contest
What is the 4-H Milk Make Contest?
Milk Make is a 4-H Food and Nutrition Activity for clover 4-H'ers. This fun and educational event sponsored by the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association. Youth will also learn more about the nutritional value and versatility of milk.

5th and 6th graders will create a milk drink which has at least one milk product as the base of the drink. For example milk, ice cream, yogurt, ice yogurt, cream, etc. Youth will have to make the drink at the day of competition, which it will be judged for flavor, nutrition, appeal, creativity, and presentation.
Comptetion is held in the Spring of each year
Competition Guidelines:
- Milk Make is a county based activity for Cloverleaf 4-H members.
- Each participant must submit a recipe for her/his favorite milk drink.
- Before the recipe may be submitted, a 4-H'er must make the drink and ask another person to taste it. Any recipe with inedible items will be disqualified.
- The recipe should list ingredients and to be used, the number of servings it makes, and directions for making the drink.
- Winners should be selected on the Milk Make Scorecard and should be judged on Nutrition, Appeal, Creativity, Flavor, and Technique/Presentation.
Who is Eligible?
Cloverleaf 4-H'ers : 5th - 6th grade
