Coins for Clover

Clover the sea turtle

Clover, the sea turtle, has been a resident of the Burton 4-H Center for three years and is preparing for her release to the sea. Athens-Clarke County Senior 4-H members joined a state wide effort to raise money for a tracking device to be placed on Clover prior to her release. ACC members collected and rolled approximately 20 pounds of coins which was contributed to the fund. Clover is scheduled for release on August 4, 2011. Watch for updates on Clover's travels.
