Events and Activities
Cloverleafs - 5th & 6th Grades
The Project Achievement competition for Cloverleaf 4-H'ers is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Clarke Middle School from 9:30AM until noon.
In project achievement students choose a topic and give a three to six minute informative speech with visuals about something which relates to their chosen topic. There are a few categories which do not require a speech and have special instructions. Please refer to the project list for all the topics and special instructions. Sign up for this competition in your classroom or by contacting the 4-H office at (706) 613-3640 or by emailing Elizabeth Conway.
Juniors - 7th & 8th Grades
Students meet during their connections class time at the four public middle schools An application must be filled out and signed by a parent/guardian in order to attend 4-H in the middle school. Please check back soon for the information letter and application to join 4-H at your school.
Junior District Project Achievement:
Junior DPA will be held at Rock Eagle on March 9-11, 2012.
If you are interested in competing in DPA as a Junior 4-H, there are a few things that you'll need to know. Just like Cloverleaf DPA, you'll need to pick a project from the project list. Next, you'll need to complete a portfolio and turn into the 4-H office no later than December 16th. Listed below are the documents you'll need to get started.
Seniors - 9th through 12th Grades
Senior 4-H Meeting - High school aged 4-H members meet monthly at the 4-H office. During meetings students will report on activities in which they have participated and hear about opportunities available for them including service projects, competitions, and speakers of interest.
When: determined each month by members and their schedules
Where: 4-H Club office (2152 W. Broad Street)
