General Info
Welcome to the Clay County 4-H Web page! 4-H is the world's largest youth organization for young people. Youth ages nine to nineteen may join. 4-H teaches service, leadership, citizenship, and character education as well as providing students with a variety of in-school and out-of-school educational opportunities involving head, heart, hands, and health.
Founded in 1904 to educate rural farm youth, today's 4-H reaches youth from all walks of life, helping them develop their interests and abilities to their fullest through project work, club work, special activities and events.
4-H is the Youth Education Program of the University of Georgia. It is administered by UGA Cooperative Extension which is part of the UGA College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES). Clay County is a cooperating partner.
