Cloverleaf County Council

Cloverleaf 4-H’ers are able to participate outside of their school’s 4-H lessons by attending a monthly meeting at our 4-H office in Jonesboro. We meet every second Tuesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. During Cloverleaf County Council students are able to meet other cloverleafs from around the county, participate in other educational lessons, community service, and learn about other opportunities for their age group.

Project Achievement

4-H’ers are encouraged to complete a speech with at least 4-5 posters on any topic of their choice.  5th grade 4-H’ers are exposed to projects during the Project Basics lesson in November or December. During this lesson fifth graders learn about what a 4-H Project is and how to complete one.

After completion of the project 4-H’ers are able to compete at the county level at County Project Achievement which is normally held on a Saturday in March at a local middle school. Students that compete that morning and place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their category will automatically advance to District Project Achievement which is in Douglasville, GA on a Saturday in April. Transportation is provided to District Project Achievement by Clayton County 4-H along with a reward trip the same day to Dixie Land.
