Volunteer Information
Volunteers are an important part of 4-H. We strive to offer a wide variety of programs that appeal to the varying interests of youth. This goal is unattainable without the support of our 4-H volunteers.
Any adult interested in volunteering with 4-H or establishing a special-interest club must first complete the volunteer screening process, which includes a background check. There are 4 steps to this process:
- Print out and complete the Volunteer Leader Application.
- Two (2) references will each need to complete a reference form.
- The applicant will then go through a background check by the UGA Human Resources Department.
- If the applicant is approved by UGA, they will sign the Volunteer Leader Agreement form.
