Home

Dawson County is host to a very diverse array of natural interests. Dawson is home to Springer Mountain which is the originating point of the Appalachian Trail, Amicalola Falls State Park and Lake Lanier. Dawson is also host to a motor sports park, moonshine distillery and some say birthplace of NASCAR. Our agribusiness is as diverse; fishing, hunting, sporting clays, pumpkin farms, corn maze and Farmers Market.

Mission

Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.
