Project Achievement
What is Project Achievement?
Project Achievement provide 4-Hers the opportunity to do demonstrations on what they have learned. Interested judges evaluate the presentations. Competition for 5th-8th grade participants ends at the district level. High school district winners compete for state honors at State 4-H Congress in Atlanta during August.
*DeKalb County Cloverleaf Project Achievement Competition for Grades 4 - 6 takes place on Saturday, January 21, 2012.
Cloverleaf DPA/APA
What members needs to know:
Cloverleaf DPA/ APA is usually held in winter at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center. Cloverleaf DPA/APA event is not an overnight event this year. We request that each participant donate $5 dollars to help offset costs. Each participant will need to complete and submit medical, code of conduct and transportation waiver forms whether parents are attending or not. All forms are on our forms page.
What parents and leaders need to know:
Leaders and parents planning to travel with us are required to let us know as soon as possible. Parent's lunches must be paid for by this date at our office. Lunches will not be available onsite the day of the competition. Parents will not be allowed on 4-H Center Site without a parent pass or entry with DeKalb Delegation. In order to be a part of the delegation, they must depart and enter the Rock Eagle site with staff and participants. Competition usually begins at 10:00 AM.
One county van will leave our office at 7:00 AM and you are welcome to ride the van. The delegation will leave at 6:00 AM and you can also ride with delegation. For more information, contact DeKalb 4-H Program at 404-298-4080.
