General Information
4-H is an educational program teaching leadership, citizenship and pratical life skills. The goal is to make learning FUN! It is the youth phase of The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension office. Your local branch is located at 230 Foster Street, Suite A, Eastman, Georgia.
Over 1000 Dodge County young people participate in 4-H activites. 4-H Clubs are a part of the Dodge County School System. There are also 4-H activities outside of school. 4-H is open to all youth ages 9 - 19.
Cloverleaf 4-H Clubs are made up of 5th and 6th graders who meet during school time. Your 4-H Agent and Program Assistant meets with the Cloverleaf Clubs at each elementary school and at the middle school.
Junior 4-H Clubs are made up of 7th and 8th graders who meet during school time. Your 4-H Agent and Program Assistant meets with the Junior Clubs at the middle school.
Senior 4-Hers meet once a month after school. Check with the Extension Service for the meeting times, dates, and locations. All students in 9th through 12th grades are invited to attend.
