sun MASTER GARDENER VOLUNTEER TRAINING

The next local Master Gardener Volunteer training program will
begin on March 6 and run through May 9, 2012. You must sign up before 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from
9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with field trips and yard visits planned for Wednesdays; these dates will be given on the first day of class, at 125 Pine Avenue in Albany. The cost of the program is $130.00; this will cover all class expenses, including the Master Gardener Handbook, Master Gardener Name Badge, Master Gardener Certificate, and a one year membership in the Georgia Master Gardener Association (GMGA).

(Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program)

FREE
Come learn how to make healthy, quick, low-cost meals. We'll have cooking demonstrations and taste testing. Attend 6 classes and graduate with a certificate of completion from the University of Georgia. Receive measuring cups, measuring spoons, menu planners, thermometers and recipe books for attending classes.
You can attend upcoming classes on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
