Conferences and Retreats

Several conferences are held throughout the year that focus on current trends and situations that our young people face today.

  • Junior 4-H’ers (grades 7th & 8th) have the opportunity to attend the state-wide Junior Conference held at Rock Eagle in November and a district Jr. Spring Event on Tybee Island in April. A registration fee is required to attend these events which includes the student’s transportation, lodging, food, activities and insurance. Scholarships may be available for students experiencing financial difficulty. Contact Stephanie Myers, 4-H Agent, for more information.
  • Senior 4-H’ers (grades 9-12) have the opportunity to attend Fall Forum at Rock Eagle in December, A registration fee is required to attend these events which includes the student’s transportation, lodging, food, activities and insurance. Scholarships may be available for students experiencing financial difficulty. Contact Stephanie Myers, 4-H Agent, for more information.
