4-H Members Compete at District Competition

Sarah & Tori

Two Fannin County 4-H members recently participated in the Northeast Project Achievement competition at Rock Eagle 4-H Center.  The competition is composed of a portfolio of their project work and a demonstration or illustrated talk.  The final score for each member is a combination of the portfolio and demonstration scores.  Sarah Allen, senior 4-H member, placed second in the Food Fast and Fit project; Tori Crandall, junior 4-H member, placed second in the Cat Care project.

Over 600 4-H members from Northeast Georgia participated in the weekend events.  In addition to the competition, members completed community service projects, danced, and attended assemblies.
