What can we do for your school?

Fayette County 4-H also offers a variety of programs to Fayette County Schools. We do hands-on science enrichment programs for any school in Fayette County. Please Contact us if you would like a 4-H program in your school.

5th Grade Science Enrichment Lessons Monthly

Fayette County 4-H do monthly science enrichment programs in many elementary schools in Fayette County. This programs includes electing club officers, an hands on agri-science lesson, and Project Achievement.

In-School Science Enrichment Programs with Georgia Performace Standards

3rd Grade Science Enrichment Lessons

Mineral Rock (4-H Agri-science Curriculum) Objectives: The student will learn how to distinguish between different rocks. The student will learn the difference between igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. The student will hold and classify actual rocks according to their type and textures.

Design A Habitat (Project WILD aquatic) Objective: Students will identify the components of a habitat that are essential for Georgia wildlife to survive.

Sum of All Parts (Project WET) Objective: distinguish between different types of pollution, recognize the contribution of humans to a watershed’s quality, and identify practices to prevent pollution.

4th Grade Science Enrichment Lessons

Solar System Distance Activity (4-H Cirriculum) Objective: To create a hands-on model demonstrating the scale distances of the Solar System using astronomical units that has been converted into a 10 centimeter scale.

The Incredible Journey (Project WET) Objective: Describe the movements and states of water within the water cycle

Oh Deer! (Project WILD) (Project WILD) Objective: Demonstrate how living things need food, water and shelter to thrive in an environment, and the importance of balancing available resources with population needs.
