WhereDauset Trails

Come see an assortment of wildlife while we serve our community and pick up trash on the trails!

Leave at 1:00pm from Fayette County Administrative Complex. Return back at 6:00pm. Students need to complete a Fayette County Enrollment form and Code of Conduct/Medical Form. Available online or we will have them. They will need to meet 15 mins early if they are going to fill one out before we leave.

 

Jr./Sr. PROJECT ACHIEVMENT (Grades 7th-12th)

1. Project Achievement is a 4-H annual weekend competition in March where students practice mastery in their field of interest through a Speech and Portfolio. It’s a way to stand out and enhance your abilities for your future career opportunities and college applications. You can even do a project that you all already doing for other school activities and assignments.

2. The Speech is performed at the competition on March 2nd-4th at

Rock Eagle 4-H Center, but the project portfolio is DRAFT DUE December 5th!

3.  Fayette county 4-H program pays for all the weekend Cost, We ask that you fill out a 4-H Jr. Sr. Project Achievement Contract Due November 30th!

About Fayette County 4-H

The Fayette County 4-H program is dedicated to providing boys and girls (grades 3rd -12th) opportunities to learn leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

Youth in the Fayette County 4-H program are given a chance to "learn by doing" through project work, classes, workshops, judging events, camps and other learning activities.

We also have In-School Science Enrichment programs as well as a developing Home School program. Please Click on the links for more information.

4-H participants have the opportunity to share the skills and knowledge they've gained through county, district, state and national competitive events and, when elected, to serve on county, district and state governing boards.

Extension agents and 4-H program assistants work closely with adult volunteer leaders,Description: 4h world school personnel, parents and other resource people in providing quality 4-H and youth programs and activities for Fayette County.

How to Join a 4-H Program

4-H is for boys and girls that are in the 5th through 12th grades. It is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, color, disability, gender or place of residence.

To become eligible for the Fayette County 4-H program, boys and girls need to fill out and submit a yearly registration form to the Fayette County Extension Office. You may register online or you may download a registration form in PDF format and send your registration in by mail or fax.
