Family & Consumer Sciences

The mission of the Family and Consumer Sciences program is to educate individuals and families on ways to meet the needs of contemporary living. Emphasis is on foods, nutrition and health, family resource management, consumerism, housing and human development.

Informal programs are conducted on ways to meet the continuously changing needs of families. Methods of teaching include telephone contacts, office visits, home study courses, newsletters, publications, and videos available for check out.
