New! Vegetable Gardening Workshop and Seminar Series!

 

 

 

  • Jan. 28 -- Seed propagation Workshop: Learn how to plant seeds, transplant seedlings, and build a seed starting station to take home. Limited to 25 participants. $40. Call before Jan. 25 to reserve your place!
  • Feb. 11 -- Garden Planning and Soil Preparation: Soil is your garden's most valuable asset. Learn how to enrich it -- naturally. $5.
  • March 10 -- Planting and Caring for Cool Season Vegetables: Extend your growing season with vegetables that like cool weather. $5.
  • April 14 -- Planting and Caring for Warm Season Vegetables: Take advantage of Georgia's long warm season with planting strategies. $5.
  • May 12 Organic Gardening: Organic gardening is healthy for you and your soil. Learn basic principles and practices for growing chemical-free food. $5.

All classes held at Central Park Recreation Building, 9 a.m.-noon in the large meeting room.
