4-H Youth Development
What's happening in South and Central Fulton County?
4-H Clubs:
Cloverleaf Clubs in 4th and 5th grade classrooms provide 4-H lessons that target many different life skills throughout the year including goal setting, sharing, healthy lifestyle choices, decision making, citizenship, and critical thinking. 4-H lessons include “hands-on” practice in specific academic areas. Lessons are state-approved curricula which specifically address Georgia Performance Standards and are designed to help students’ classroom lessons come to life.
Junior and Senior 4-H Clubs meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the East Point Cooperative Extension Office at 3:00 p.m. Meetings focus on community service, developing leadership skills and developing public speaking skills through project activities planned and developed by the 4-H’ers, adult staff and volunteers.
