UGA Cooperative Extension
Glynn County Junior 4-H
We do a wide variety of activities, such as: go over 4-H news/events, plan projects and trips, take phytoplankton samples from Terry Creek/key out under the microscope, go to the DNR CRD Nature Trail (Glynn 4-H'ers steward the nature trail), we play games, use GPS units (Geocaching), change out the USDA Cactus Moth Traps, hang out, visit with friends, have snacks or go out for a bite, we clean up the beach and Massengale Park, ride bikes, learn how to make maps using ESRI ArcView9.1 (GIS), look at community and environmental issues affecting our area, play frisbee, play hacky-sack, look at ways we can be "helpers" (active participants) in our community, kayak, and we see a movie several times a year, etc.
The sky is the limit. We do so much that you will never get bored...at least not for long.
This is your club, these are your friends, this is your future...Dream Big!
