Georgia 4-H Cans Hunger!!

Packaged Foods

Georgia 4-H is joining the Revolution of Responsibility and is banding together to fight hunger - in our hometowns!! The Georgia 4-H Southwest District is facilitating "One Million Begins with One: Georgia 4-H Cans Hunger," a statewide community service project that will shake our nation and give a voice to those who have none.

Join our fight and help us show the world what Georgia 4-Accept the ChallengeH stands for and that we are the movers and shakers of tomorrow! We ARE Georgia 4-H!!

Any canned and/or non-perishable items collected for Gordon County 4-H will remain in Gordon County and benefit local residents. For additional information on how you can become a part of the Revolution of Responsibility, contact Becky Pass or Kurt Sutherland at 706-629-8685.

Continue to Save Tabs!

Save your pop tabs from aluminum cans and turn them in to Ms. Becky or Mr. Kurt when they visit your school for club meetings. They will put your tabs with all the others collected and take them to Jr. Conference at Rock Eagle scheduled in November of 2012. The tabs from Gordon County 4-H will be added to tabs from 4-H clubs all over Georgia and given to a local Ronald McDonald House Charity Chapter. Saving the tabs not only helps others in need, but it is a great way to recycle also!
